Chills come down my hands
Cold walls of Ice surrounds me
Can't feel my hands now

I have learnt that a Haiku has a pattern. The pattern is 575. The first line in the Haiku has 5 syllables the second line has 7 syllables and the third line has 5 syllables.

Day 5 Activity 1 - Eddie the eagle

Activity 1: Some Olympic athletes become famous not because they win but because they have an amazing attitude and great determination. They are sometimes called ‘underdogs.’ One of the most famous ‘underdogs’ in Olympic history was a man named Michael Edwards. He was a ski jumper from England who competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary, Canada. Although he came last in the event, he never gave up. Recently, a movie has been made about his life. It is called “Eddie the Eagle.”  For this activity, watch the trailer for Eddie the Eagle and then post a summary of the movie on your blog. What is the movie about?

This movie is about a boy that wants to be in the Olympic but no one believes in him. He tries out for a ski jumper in the Olympics. He won't give up and will keep trying so he can be in the Olympics.

My poem has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second line and 5 syllables on the third line.

Dodging like ninjas,

Running, hunting for the ball

Stealing like a thief

I wrote a haiku about play basketball for kiwi sport. I described what I did during the basketball lesson.
