Today I got 35/40. This is my highest score in timed since I have been in stage 7 prototec.

I got 33/40. I will try and get 35/40 or 40/40 on Friday.

Day 4 Activity 2

Activity 2: Let’s imagine that you were able to meet one of the following three athletes competing for New Zealand at the Rio Olympics:

1. Lauren Boyle: Lauren is a swimmer from Auckland. She typically competes in the 400m and 800m freestyle races and, in the 2012, finished in 4th place at the London Olympics (just one spot away from winning a medal)! This will be Lauren’s third trip to an Olympic Games. She is the most successful swimmer in New Zealand sporting history. 2. Stuart Farquhar: Stuart competes in the athletics (javelin throwing) competition at the Olympics. He currently lives in Hamilton but was born and raised in Te Aroha. He has competed for New Zealand at four previous Olympics games. His best ever throw was 86.31 m. That’s a long way! 3. Andrea Kilday: Andrea competes in the sport of Taekwondo. This will be her first ever trip to an Olympic games but she recently won a gold medal at a large international competition in Papua New Guinea. Andrea was born in Christchurch and moved to Auckland in 2005 to train at the Sejong Taekwondo Club with her coach Jin Keun Oh. I would chose stuart farquhar because it would be fun watching how far he could throw a spear into the air.

Day 4 Activity 1

Valerie Adams is a four-time World champion,three time World Indoor champion, two-time Olympic and three-time Commonwealth champion. Rio will be Valerie's fourth Olympic Games having won gold in the shot put at Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and finishing seventh in her debut at Athens 2004.

Valerie Adams is also known as Valerie vili, growing up she had 17 siblings who also became professional athletes, she recently got married to Gabriel Prince on April 2016 in Hamilton New Zealand.

Day 3 Activity 2

Activity 2: Take a picture of yourself playing one of the 28 Olympic sports and post it to your blog along with the name of the sport and a brief description of what you are doing in the picture. As an example, I have posted a picture of my son, Aronui, posing as an archery competitor. He made his bow out of a tree branch!

Today I got 43 words per minute. I have gotten a higher score then Mondays Result.

Monday 24 July

I got 42 words per minute. I have gotten a lower score.

Today I got 31/40 I have gotten a higher score then Wednesday.

I have to work on my division, fractions and percentages and sqrs,roots and factors.

I got 27 on Wednesday. I have gotten a lower score in my Basic facts practise. I need to work in my division, fractions and percentages and sqrs, roots and factors.
